Vitamin D acts also to increase blood concentrations of calcium. It is generated through the activity of parathyroid hormone within the kidney. Far and away the most important effect of vitamin D is to facilitate absorption of calcium from the small intestine. In concert with parathyroid hormone, vitamin D also enhances fluxes of calcium out of bone.
Here is the math: Increased calcium into the blood from the small intestine + increased calcium in the blood from calcium leaving bone = CALCIFICATION OF YOUR BODY = most of our modern chronic diseases of aging.
What does our modern society have?
- fetish with taking Vitamin D supplements (and nasty-ass fermented/rotten cod liver oil that contains Vitamin D)
- epidemic of osteoporosis
- epidemic of heart disease, thyroid disease, blood sugar problems, osteoarthritis, and calcification of all sorts of soft tissues (these are all rooted in too much calcium settling in places where it should not be, because the body WILL clear that extra calcium from the blood however it needs to, if it doesn’t you could die)
Are the pieces fitting together yet?
